With a little help from their fans, G’Natural Herbal Products will expand distribution of their natural hair and skin system into 400 new stores this spring.
After expanding into 82 Wegman stores along the east coast in November 2013, G’Natural Herbal Products President and CEO Roger Gore set his sights on another major milestone. His natural hair and skin system is poised to hit the shelves in eighteen Mom's Organic Markets and 300 CVS pharmacies this spring. To help fund this expansion, the small business owner created an IndieGoGo campaign. G’Natural Products hopes to raise $100,000 by March 14, 2014.
This transition to a wider customer base has been a long time coming. Founded in 1996 as an answer to Gore’s own thinning hair issues, G’Natural has always been about results. “We were way ahead 20 years ago,” said Gore. “We started in natural products when it wasn’t popular...We never made our products based on cost, we made them based on if it works or not.”
And for the last 18 years, G’Natural has focused on natural products with real benefits. “When you look at the five things that it takes for hair growth -- stimulation, circulation, acceleration, moisture and nutrition -- all of our products constantly give you those 5 characteristics,” said Gore. In 2009, G’Natural added key products like body butters, curl definition pudding & custards, all day leave in conditioners and shaving balm to round out their full-body benefit.
Recently, Jennifer Lord of NaturalHollywood.com endorsed G’Natural products on WUSA9, DC. “These are natural organic products that are very healthy for your hair and they have now come into play to help us take better care of our hair as opposed to some of the older products that were used that had parabens and sulfates.”
