Review: Smelly Washer Cleaner & Smelly Towel Cleaner

My washer stays busy living in a home of 4, especially with two kids. I had never heard of Smelly Washer Cleaner or Smelly Towel Cleaner until now. I was definitely up for the challenge to see if these products worked.

Smelly Towel Cleaner:
  • Add 1 level cap (1 tbsp) to a full load of stinky laundry in any HE or regular clothes washer and complete a normal wash cycle . More extreme cases may need to repeat and/or soak to remove odor.  Do not use on new dark colored items as fading may occur.
  • Use without detergent to remove odor.  Use just a 1/2 tsp with detergent to prevent mold odor*, soften towels and make them more absorbent and fluffier without using chemicals!   Boost detergent effectiveness and brighten colors with this customer favorite!
  •  Use monthly or when odor is noticed in the washer or laundry.
Review: I was very impressed to see this product works great. I have tried so many products to help my towels smell better.  I have even used Vinegar but still not results. My towels are now softer, fluffier, and smell great thanks to Smelly Towel cleaner!!

Smelly Washer Cleaner:

To remove odor:
  • The first time using Smelly Washer use with no laundry and no detergent.
  • For best results use a hot "whites", or a cleaning cycle and complete a wash cycle.
  • More extreme cases may need repeated applications and/or long soaks (even overnight).  Push "pause" if no soak is available.
For persistent or returning odor:
  • Add a cap to a full load of white towels.  The added bulk of the laundry will raise the water level to include the "splash area" just above the normal waterline where suds and soiled water splash up and don't get rinsed out.  The splash area is almost invariably the area of worst buildup.
Review: My husband is a construction worker so his clothes are always messy. I was very excited to test this product out to see if it would really work. YES!! It does work and it works great. No more smelly washer for me!! It so easy to use. You simply put in a cap full of it and put it on soak for a few hours, then let the cycle run through.
