Review: Elmer's CheeWees

Elmer's is a family owned business out of New Orleans.  They have been around since the early 1900's!  The CheeWees were created by five brothers.  What exactly are CheeWees?  They are a crunchy and delicious cheese curl.  The Elmer's CheeWees plant was destroyed in hurricane Katrina, but was rebuilt.  They reopened in 2007 and have been selling these wonderful cheesy snacks again.

 The Chee Wees line includes: Original (Made with Aged Cheddar Cheese), Bar-B-Que (Most Popular Flavor, Aged Sharp Cheddar and a Unique Spice Blend), Jalapeno (Spices are made from fresh peppers along with a hint of lime, combined with Aged Sharp Cheddar), Green Onion (Mild Sweet Green Onion, spices and Aged Cheddar Cheese) and Hot-N-Spicy (Aged Cheddar Cheese and Just the Right Amount of Heat Spices).  Elmer’s also makes Caramel Popcorn (Real Caramel, delicious with a buttery taste), Cheese Popcorn (Lightly flavored, for a lite snack) and Jumbo Peanuts (Dry Roasted, great for Low Carb dieters).

Review: My family and I really LOVED testing out the snacks. My favorite was definitely the cheese popcorn. My son really enjoyed the caramel popcorn. Neither of those two lasted long in our home. My husband has not had the chance to test out any of the products yet. He is working out of town so I will be mailing a few in his care package. If you have never tried Elmer's CheeWees I highly suggest you check out there site and place an order!! You will not regret it!!
