The next big thing in fashion is not only sexy – it’s innovative.
You’re
not going to hear about this in an Apple CEO’s keynote, nor will it
make the cover of WIRED but the patent pending innovation within Eskini’s ModCapsule
collection of swimwear, ready-to-wear and articulating straps, panels
and closures will change the way we dress and accessorize well into the
foreseeable future.
Start
with the ModSwim™ basics – pick the shape you love that covers… the
goods, pick your typical size, favorite color or print, then the unique
part… select multiple straps and closures to suit your suit. Eskini
calls these interchangeable straps ModCandy™ and it conjures the
aesthetically delicious image of being a kid walking into a candy store –
exciting, and seemingly limitless in possibility.
For
something simple and strong, put on the elasticized sport straps.
Prefer to advertise your shoulders in a T-back? Grab one of those too.
Add the super slinky spaghetti straps (or take them off) when you want a
cleaner tan. Looking for something really distinctive? Swap in the
leather hip straps. Micheal Kors liked the idea and sampled it in his
Spring 2016 collection (we love you too, Michael).
Also,
no matter what strap you pick, you can be pretty sure it’ll fit. That’s
because the ModSwim styles, which already range in XS, S, M & L
(they’re adding a D-cup top too), are designed with inches of invisible
latitudinal adjustability. Many of the top straps are adjustable as
well but that’s usually standard in the world of swimwear.
Raised
in Los Angeles, Eskini’s creative director was at the movies if she
wasn’t at the beach. Fittingly, she named each of the styles by her
favorite movie genre. All ModSwim have names like ‘Bonnie & Clyde’,
‘Point Break’, ‘The Italian Job’… ‘Nikita’. The bikinis are also made in
LA, with premium quality and craftsmanship as a core tenet.
And what does ‘Eskini’ mean? It’s Basque, for “an offering”.
