I received the SeabuckWonders Natural Skin Care Program Kit for review. If you have not heard of Sea Buckthorn in skincare you are really missing out! Dr. Oz refers to it as the “miracle berry”. I am a huge tanner in the winter so finding a body lotion to keep my skin hydrated has been very hard. I will admit when applying I was freaked out by the yellowness of the lotion, thankfully it blended in just fine.This lotion leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and very moisturizing. It has changed my skin dramatically!!

I will admit that I'm one who has a hard time finding a facial cream so I rarely use them. I decided to give this a product a try in hopes that it would work and not break my skin out. I'm really glad that I did give it a try. It is light weight and very moisturizing. I also like the fact that it absorbs very quickly into the skin so that I don't have to wait for a large amount of time to apply make up.

This cleanser is amazing. It is infused with a potent blend of Omega 3, 6, 9, and the rare Omega-7. I really liked that it was very gentle on my skin and made my skin so soft and very clean.

What do I think?
This product is great. I mix it with my juice in the morning. I was amazed in two weeks to see that my nails were growing longer. (They are short and stubby and always break) My hair is growing and looks so much better. My skin is less dry since using this product.

I recently had the chance to try out two products from skyn ICELAND the Arctic Face Mist and the Glacial Cleansing Cloths. I must admit I don't take care of my skin as much as I should. I'm definitely working on fixing that though!!

What do I think?
What is there not to love about this product?? So many great vitamins in this product that will definitely help your skin. It leaves my skin extra hydrated and soft. I have noticed less breakouts since using this product. I really love it and the smell. A little goes a long way this product. Worth every bit of $29!!

Morning and evening, rub sides of cloth together to create a rich, foaming lather and gently sweep across skin. Do not add water. No need to rinse. Follow with the ANTIDOTE Quenching Daily Lotion in the a.m. and Oxygen Infusion Night Cream in the p.m.
 
What do I think?
These cleansing cloths are awesome. I have used cleansing cloths in the past and they left my skin dry. These cloths leave my face feeling very clean, moisturized, and soft. They are very gentle enough that I can use them every night on my sensitive skin. I was amazed at the lather I got without even using water! I highly recommend you get a pack and try them out for yourself. You will not regret it!!

Review: Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel

I recently received a sample of Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel to try out. My hair is slightly wavy whenever I do not blow dry or straighten it. I was very anxious to try this product as there are days when I don't feel like doing much to it. Do you ever have days like this??


What it is:
A "smart" gel, formulated with heat-activated wheat protein that breathes in humidity, protects the hair shaft and prevents hair from expanding. Its water-soluble formula of amino acids and vitamin A nourish and hydrate hair, leaving it soft, manageable and full of shine without any buildup. Even the most unruly curls are rendered calm, cool, and collected with style that will last and last. Also works as great protection against blow-dryer heat when a straight style is preferred.

Ingredients:
Water, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Lawsonia Inermis (Henna) Leaf Extract, Wheat Amino Acids, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein/PVP Crosspolymer, Propylene Glycol, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Dimethicone, Polyquaternium-28, Glycerin, PPG-26-Buteth-25, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PVP/DMAPA Acrylates Copolymer, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance.

Directions:
Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. When hair is still damp, divide into 4-6 sections. Spread a nickel size dollop through each section, with your fingers separated like a rake. Rake section from scalp to ends, then holding the ends, shake hair back and forth to create curls. Repeat process for each section. Let hair dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser.
 
What do I think?
I absolutely love this product. It is so lightweight that I couldn't tell that I had product in my hair. It smells soooooooo good. My fiance even complemented me on how good it smelt in my hair! This doesn't leave your hair stiff, sticky, or hard. A little definitely goes a long way with this product. I had no frizz at all! I give this product a A+ and highly recommend you purchase it!!!!

Pumpkin carving for big kids

Carving pumpkins is a superb tradition that stays with us for life, while kids
love designing their own spooky or silly pumpkin faces at Halloween. With a
little creativity, your pumpkin carving can go from average to enviable. Once
you’ve sorted out their costumes (it’s worth noting that 
Woolworths has great kids Halloween costumes for you to check out), it’s time to get busy with the
overgrown squash. The following three pumpkin design ideas are all made
from household items and cheap Halloween-themed props that are readily
available throughout October.

Pond-Dwelling Pumpkin

You’ll need either a fairly small pumpkin or a particularly large sandwich
bag to create a Pond-Dwelling Pumpkin. First off, carve your pumpkin face
and pop it into a see-through plastic bag. Now, this is the tricky part: whilst
you hold the bag in place, get one of the kids to fill it with cold water. Add a
couple of drops of diluted green food colouring to create a more pond-like
appearance, before tying the bag in a tight knot at the top of the pumpkin’s
stalk. How do you illuminate an underwater pumpkin? Well, you use a glow
stick, of course. They provide a cheap and flame-free way to light up jack o’
lanterns, and a green stick will cast an eerie underwater glow that will last for
hours.

Carrie Pumpkin

One for older kids to enjoy: Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright‘s
favourite horror movie is ’70s classic Carrie, based on the novel by king of
horror, Stephen King. A Carrie Pumpkin is easy (as pumpkin pie…) to make.
Carve a sad-faced pumpkin, top with a tiara and drizzle fake blood from the
crown of the pumpkin’s head. Due to the messy fake blood, Carrie Pumpkins
should be kept on a plate or tray and out of the way of any hungry pets!

Poorly Pumpkin

What do you do with your pumpkin’s innards? Washing, drying and roasting
the seeds makes a great party snack, but it’s a slow and messy process to
extract them from the pulpy fibres. Instead, make the kids giggle by creating a
Poorly Pumpkin. Your pumpkin needs to sit a little higher than usual, so prop
it up on a stack of coasters. Carve a wide mouth and squinting eyes, and trail
the discarded innards from the mouth to make a poorly, puking pumpkin!

   Review: I love deep conditioners and I'm always willing to try a new one. I was very pleased with this conditioner.  It has a lot of amazing ingredients:

 I noticed a HUGE difference in my hair after one use!! I love that it is very affordable. $9.99 for 4 ounces is definitely worthy every cent!! The only negative that I can honestly say about this product is that when it got close to being empty it was very hard to get the last few drops out. 



Review:  I must admit that I'm not much on hair creams...but when I got the opportunity to try this product out I took it. I was honestly very impressed with it. My hair at times can get very unmanageable but  I must say this cream helped with that. My hair was left sleek and definitely more manageable. It also has a ton of key ingredients that are great for your hair

  • Nourishing Complex of Papaya, Evening Primrose, Alfalfa, and Pomegranate nourish and revitalize hair.
  • Hibiscus, rich in Alpha Hydroxy and Amino Acids, rehydrates keratin fibers adding luster and smoothness.
  • Naturally nourishing Organic Jojoba, Organic Coconut and Olive Oils deeply hydrate hair while adding shine and softness.
  • Panthenol aids in moisture retention, increasing elasticity and thickening hair.
  • Quinoa Protein, high in Amino Acids, fortifies, conditions and repairs hair.
  • Aloe Vera improves scalp health with powerful antioxidants.
  • Vegetable Glycerin softens hair by locking moisture into the hair shaft.
